This pack provides the means for observation of Brownian Motion and requires only a microscope (200X) and suitable biological slide blanks. Background information, details of experimental protocols and video clips are contained on the two CD-ROMs included. Also included are micro-spheres (1.0 micron diameter polystyrene beads) suspended in de-ionised water. Placed in the well of a suitable biological microscope slide, these can be seen to exhibit the same ¡®jiggling¡¯ motion originally observed in the movement of pollen grain fragments by Robert Brown in 1827.Contains:
