For making qualitative comparisons of the specific heat capacity of metals. Consists of 4 metal cylinders with strings: Lead, Copper, Aluminium and Iron. An acrylic disc with 4 holes allows students to insert the different metal cylinders vertically (after gentle heating) and then watch the effects. N.B. Wax plates must be purchased separately.
